All costs are determined when provided.
The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. lf legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Direct Cremation
Price Range $985 - 1,840
A Direct Cremation includes a portion of the services of the funeral director and staff, transfer of remains from the place of death (within 25 mile radius), washing and disinfection (which is a legal requirement in Wisconsin), placing cremated remains in a selected container, transportation to a crematory, and a temporary container to hold the cremated remains. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials, with or without an outside covering. The containers we provide are made of fiberwood.

Private Family Viewing --------------- $375
Limited to no more than 10 immediate family members for up to 30 minutes at funeral home location chosen by Preferred Care. between the hours of 10am - 2pm Monday - Friday.
Premium Cremation Service----------- $695
Expedited cremation process to ensure your loved one’s remains are returned within 5 business days. Service includes personal hand delivery within a 25-mile radius, available Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. If for any reason, we're unable to complete the cremation within this time frame, you'll receive a refund of the premium fee, and hand delivery will still be provided at no additional cost.
Embalming------ $600
Except in certain special cases, Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff -- $1,550
This charge includes services of the funeral director and staff to respond to the initial request for service, conference with responsible person to determine services requested, coordination of plans involved in the final disposition of the deceased, recording vital statistics, securing permits and authorizations, obtaining & filing death certificates, and preparation of other forms & claims. lt also includes appropriate allocations of specific funeral home expenses such as utility's, insurance, property taxes, maintenance, general operating expenses, and the facilities to carry out the above services. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for Direct Cremations and Receiving Remains).
Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home
From place of death, within 25 mile radius------- $350
(This fee is included in our charges for Direct Cremations)
Expedited transfer fee---- Transfer from location other than a morgue or Medical Examiner office. Examples include residence, nursing home or assisted living facility ---- Additional $200
Oversize transfer fee (300lbs or more) ------ Additional $175
Automotive Equipment
Transfer vehicle to or from Medical Examiner, airport, cemetery, crematory, etc. -------------- $250
Additional mileage fee (one way) ------- $3/mile
Sheltering of Remains ---------------$70/day
After five days a fee may be assessed for the shelterization of the deceased remains (if applicable)
Insurance Assignment Fee------- $125
