Romylos excelled in the game of soccer and joined a team with the Croatian Eagles as well as another Greek team where he could continue his passion and play in America. Romylos received the nickname of Roger through his friends where he worked as a teenager. After arriving in America, he continued his education and graduated from West Allis Central High School. From there he attended Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) where he became a welder. He maintained that career most of his adult life until he became injured. He eventually became involved with real estate rentals and continued in this business throughout the rest of his life.
