Millicent Weber, 94, passed away peacefully at her home after an illness, on March 19,2025, and was reunited with her beloved husband, Dr. John “Jack” C. Weber Sr. Millicent was born September 13, 1930, in Madison, WI to Thomas S. Fuller and Agnes (nee Baumgartner) Fuller.
After graduation, Millicent worked for and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying art and working in the research labs at the university. She married Dr. John Weber in Madison in 1965. In Beaver Dam, Millicent was active in the arts, volunteering at the elementary schools with Arts Alive - teaching students about art. She also volunteered with PAVE, The Sieppel Homestead and the Center for the Arts, helping put together various art exhibits. Millicent loved to travel, antiquing, gardening, art, reading, watching Badger football and basketball, and spending her summers at Elkhart Lake with family and friends.
Millicent is survived by her two children John (Shelby) Weber Jr. of Appleton WI, and Brynn (Jeff) Porter of Prairie Hills, TX as well as grandchildren Morgan (Ricky) Breneman, Tabatha Kidd, and John “Jack” Weber, great grandchildren Ellie and Cooper Breneman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John “Jack” C. Weber, Sr., brothers Thomas Fuller, Robert Fuller, and David Fuller, sisters Doris Hodges and Mary Fuller and sister-in-law, Marion Lussier.
There will be a private gathering held to celebrate Millicent’s life, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elkhart Lake Improvement Association or the Milwaukee Art Museum, in her name.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at both Commonheart Hospice Care and Cornerstone Caregiving, especially caregivers Missy and Brianna respectively, who gave Millicent such wonderful and compassionate care. Additionally, the family is very grateful to Millicent’s neighbors, Dan and Colleen Nelson and Jim and Pat Kleinmann for assisting Millicent all these years and keeping a watchful eye over her. Your care and kindness is much appreciated.
